Structured and Personalized

Every patient begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. It's the entry point for all care at Everhealth, and it's how we make sure treatment is right for you from the start.

Before your first appointment, you complete intake forms online. These collect the factual information your provider needs as context: personal history, family history, medications, and other background that would otherwise take up valuable time during your visit. Based on what you provide, additional clinical questionnaires may be assigned to help guide the direction of your evaluation.

None of this replaces the evaluation itself. It frames it. When you sit down with your provider, they already have context and direction, which means your appointment time is spent on what matters most: a thorough clinical assessment, a conversation about your concerns, and the development of a treatment plan that fits your situation.

The intake process is standardized by population (children and adolescents follow a different pathway than adults) and then tailored to you as an individual. Most patients leave their first appointment with a working diagnosis and a clear next step.

Trained, Supported, and Accountable

Your evaluation is conducted by an experienced PA or NP who works under the guidance of Dr. Nazarani.

This is not a staffing model where providers rotate through independently. Every practitioner at Everhealth is personally trained by Dr. Nazarani and follows evidence-based clinical guidelines that the psychiatrist develops, maintains, and reviews. The treatment approach is systematic and consistent, not dependent on individual provider preference.

This team structure allows us to serve more patients, including communities in underserved areas, while maintaining the clinical quality and oversight that a psychiatrist-led practice requires.

What "Psychiatrist-Led" Actually Means

At Everhealth, "psychiatrist-led" refers to specific, ongoing activities:

Treatment plan review.

Dr. Nazarani reviews every new patient treatment plan. This happens as a built-in part of the clinical workflow, not only when a problem arises.

Chart reviews.

The psychiatrist conducts regular reviews of patient records across the practice, providing an additional layer of clinical accountability.

Consultation on complex cases.

When a case requires additional clinical input, providers have direct access to the psychiatrist. This isn't theoretical availability. It's how the practice operates day to day.

Clinical guideline development.

Dr. Nazarani develops and maintains the evidence-based protocols that all providers follow. This is active clinical leadership, not administrative oversight.

Direct handling of specialized services.

TMS evaluations, brain mapping, and treatment planning are conducted by the psychiatrist directly, not delegated.

This model means your care benefits from multiple clinical perspectives and built-in quality checks, whether you see the psychiatrist directly or not.

Treatment Is More Than a Prescription

Medication can be an important part of psychiatric treatment. But at Everhealth, it's one component of a broader approach.

Every visit, whether it's your first evaluation or a routine follow-up, may include:

Psychoeducation.

Understanding your condition, how it works, what to expect from treatment, and how to recognize changes in your own symptoms.

Lifestyle guidance.

Sleep, exercise, nutrition, stress management, and other factors that directly affect mental health. These aren't afterthoughts. They're part of the clinical conversation.

Coping strategies.

Practical tools for managing symptoms between appointments, tailored to your specific situation.

Ongoing assessment.

Treatment isn't static. Your provider monitors your response, adjusts the plan as needed, and involves the psychiatrist when clinical questions arise.

The goal is to help you understand your own health, not just take a prescription and hope for the best. We want patients who are informed, engaged, and involved in their own care.

We don't provide standalone psychotherapy, but when therapy is part of the treatment plan, we recommend the type of therapy that's most appropriate for your situation, point you toward resources to find a therapist, and provide referrals when needed. If you already have a therapist, we coordinate care with them directly.

A System Designed for Consistency

Structured intake. Evidence-based assessments. Providers trained and guided by a psychiatrist. Active oversight built into the workflow. A treatment approach that goes beyond medication.

Each piece of this model reinforces the others. The intake process makes evaluations more focused. The clinical guidelines make care more consistent. The oversight makes the team more accountable. And the whole-person approach makes treatment more complete.
